If you know that how to generate QR code using python then now in this tutorial we will build our own QR code scanner with the help of python libraries.
To build a QR code scanner, you need three libraries to install in your project. Those libraries are OpenCV, Pyzbar, and Argparse.
Most of you are familiar with the OpenCV library. It is an open-source and very popular library. We will use it to process the image from capturing the video.
And the Pyzbar library is used to scan a bar code or QR code and make it readable. And the Argparse library is used to make it easy to write the user-friendly command-line interface.
So let’s install first these libraries.
Now you have to import these libraries in your project by the following example code.
Now we will make a python code script to scan the bar code and QR code. Let’s have a look at the following example code.
So use this above code to build a QR code scanner using the python script and using some third-party libraries. You can customize it as per your requirements.
